Put on Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 13:14)

13 Therefore my people go into captivity for lack of knowledge. Their honourable men are famished, and their multitudes are parched with thirst.14 Therefore Sheol‡ has enlarged its desire, and opened its mouth without measure; ... (Isaiah 5:13,14)

Christ is Word: so if you reject knowledge you reject Christ as well. If you have no knowledge of God’s form and nature you might be a worshipper of “golden calf” instead of God like the ancient Israelites were in the desert and in the time of Jeroboam (1 Kings 12:28...30). Theses accounts were written for warning and as examples for us. 7 Don’t be idolaters, as some of them were... and in one day twenty-three thousand fell. 11 Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come. 12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall. (1 Cor. 10:7,11,12) Have the fear of the Lord.

By my understanding: flesh gives birth to flesh and spirit gives birth to spirit (John 3:6), secular people gives birth to secular folks, Christians to Christians, Muslims to Muslims and so on... That is according to inherited denominational spirit and subsequent parental brainwash to mould our pottery to conform surrounding religious branch of local demonic lord. The devil is the ruler of this world (1 John 5:19) and his motto is “divide and rule”.

“An inherited demonic spirit” is hard nut to accept if you have a Calvinistic way of believing in sovereign and just God. If you can believe that the situation where we are now wasn’t God’s will (have more Armenian view), it is much easier. God’s choices are: End this world system and condemn potential future Christians to hell or let it continue and save them. (2Peter 3:9)

14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the husband. Otherwise your children would be UNCLEAN, but now they are holy (because at least one parent is born-again Christian). (1 Cor.7:14) (John was filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mothers womb. The UNCLEAN SPIRIT, when he has gone out of the man, passes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will turn back to my house from which I came out.’ 26 Then he goes and takes seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there. 10 For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud,… (and gives life for us) 11 so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void,… (Isaiah 55:10,11)

Jesus commented about the scribes and Pharisees: “Every plant (tradition/doctrine) which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted. 14 Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14) I guess that the same thing that that did happen in Asia Minor is going to be the lot of Europe as well. Paul’s teachings were rejected as heresy by Christian circles; by authority first and common folk did follow: “Like priest like people”. The lack of knowledge and reason (rejection of God’s Word) did cause God to withdraw and the demonic lords took over. General apostasy will tip the scale and The Lord will end this system.

Lutherans have the “doctrine” of emergency baptism and godfather/godmother sponsorship to make all folks holy and keep them in the faith.

Lutherans read ACTS 2:38 like: Repent, and let every one of you (AND YOUR FAMILY INCLUDING SMALL CHILDREN) be baptised (BY WATER) in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Pentecostals read it like: Repent (FIRST), and let every one of you (WHO REPENTED) be baptised (BY WATER/DEED AND BY WORD AND DOCTRINE/FAITH) in the name of Jesus...

In God’s system a blissful and happy eternity in heaven is based on love. (For us it is to own Christ’s love in unity with Him: Let him be cursed, who does not love Christ and/including His body, meaning doesn’t love his fellow believers. 1John 3:10,14) This agenda demands free will and freedom of choice. Because of that Lucifer had an opportunity to rebel and introduce his own point of view (revolution).

The devil’s resistance of God’s plan (Christian education and freedom to select Christ and His love) explains the constant battle to restrict our liberty and erase “the free press”. It explains in Christian circles the need of “the scribes and Pharisees“ to emphasise that we are only sinful humans saved by mercy and not Gods as branches of Christ (owning His love by by-product of believing in unity with Him). “In Him we live and move and have our being...” (ACTS 17:28)

God’s agenda for eternity demands exclusion of rebellious not loving folks out of heaven. Top of that comes God’s wrath against all injustice and sin plus he, who is filthy (unholy), let him be filthy still (have the growing spiritual cancer eternally without remedy/medicine/blood of Christ).

25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor(/LAW). 26 For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Gal 3:25...27) I believe that here Paul meant ONE combined baptism: Baptisms of/through repentance, born-again experience, embracing the word/Word of God resulting faith and water-baptism as public confession. Of cause one can argue that in adult water-baptism all the others are automatically included.

The main quest of the believer is to preserve the Spirit and LIFE of Jesus, received when one accepted Christ as his Lord and saviour, did have the born- again experience. Old Testament believers had access only to the Holy Spirit (and paradise not heaven) because Jesus was not yet crucified. When David did sin with Bathsheba and was reproached by Nathan, he did ask mercy from the Lord: “Do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.” (Psalm 51:11)

Paul was once alive (as Jesus was before the cross), but when sin revived Paul died spiritually losing the LIFE of Christ (“Who will deliver me from this body of death?” and inside self-condemnation). Paul did not lose the Holy Spirit as he was still alive according to the inward man. There is no (inside self-)condemnation to those who own the Spirit and the LIFE of Jesus. (Romans 7:9,22 and 8:1)

How quickly we are pardoned from “this body of death” depends on the weight of the sin, the Lord’s consideration and seriousness of our prayer, “sin-offering” (I think).

“Seven times righteous man fall and rise again” My method is to read and meditate God’s “Word of life” (1 John 1:1,2) like Samson got his power back by becoming grinder (of word) in prison.

16 “ ‘If any man has an emission of semen, then he shall bathe all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the evening. 18 If a man lies with a woman and there is an emission of semen, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the evening. (Leviticus 15:16,18) I think that uncleanness is connected with the selfish lust even with the case of the wife; but the short duration of “punishment” indicates the Lord’s understanding of our situation and it being more like a reminder to escape immorality which wages war against the Spirit.

When I was 19/20 years old unbeliever, I had about one year relationship with couple of years older woman. Within regular intercourse I did once had a mood chance: instead of lust to take the woman I suddenly felt love and desire to give myself to her. The woman reacted immediately starting to push me away in the middle of action. I did jump out about a meter being upset and disappointed about the rejection. Now I understand that the question was about the involving spirits which ones can’t tolerate love in any form. Marriage without previous sexual experience is meant to give us the best change to have union with love. Change of attitude/morale (and “loss of wisdom”) did happen in Finland around 1970...1980 (writer’s opinion).

A thorn in the flesh (for example sexual lust?) was given to me (Paul): a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively. 8 Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Cor. 12:7,8)

6 According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted. Therefore they have forgotten me. 13 The sorrows of a travailing woman (TO GIVE BIRTH TO SON/LIFE) will come on him. He is an unwise son, for when it is time, he doesn’t come to the opening of the womb. (Hosea 13:6,13)

The Lord likes to give us blessings and green pasture; but unfortunately the result is pride (as a rule) and loss of zeal (loss of saltiness) if things are too easy. Seven years of famine will follow after the seven years of plenty and apostasy will follow after the revival. So better to have the fear of the Lord always in front of your eyes.

Every Christians with understanding like to be among the five wise virgins who will go to the seven years wedding feast with/of the lord (and avoid the specific time of the Antichrist). I think that the condition to have oil in one’s lamp to be approved is meant for us to study and penetrate into this allegoric story.

No doubt that “have oil in one’s lamp” and “have put on Christ” is the same thing but from a different angle.

3 Your oils have a pleasing fragrance. Your NAME IS OIL poured out, therefore the VIRGINS love you.4 Take me away with you. Let’s hurry. (The Song of Solomon 1:3,4)

Note that Eli was spiritually laying in his bed (fixed mindset) without proceeding further and starting to lose his understanding (and knowledge) as opposite to Samuel who was laying where the ark of God (symbol of FAITH) was.

“23 For the commandment is a lamp, and the law (or instruction) is light. Reproofs of instruction are the way of life,..” (Proverbs 6:23) so with the other words: Word of God is like a lamp and to understand and adopt it is light (insight resulting faith). 27 The spirit of man is Yahweh’s lamp, searching all his innermost parts. (Proverbs 20:27) (“I am He who searches the minds and hearts” Rev.2:23)

Because God’s name is oil poured out we can state that the dull virgins (without oil) didn’t carry the name of God (because of unbelief); didn’t have even one talent of Christ’s mind (including His love) within them. Question: “What is your name?” in ancient Israel did mean: what kind of person you are?, what is your personality? (Aapeli Saarisalo Finnish patriarch / well known Hebrew specialist)

21 Isaac said to Jacob, “Please come near, that I may feel you, my son, whether you are really my son Esau or not.” Jacob: “12 What if my father touches me (will feel me NKJ)? I will seem to him as a deceiver, and I would bring a curse on myself, and not a blessing.”

I believe that in this story Jacob represent Christian believer, Esau is the symbol of Christ (, sinful Christ on the cross with Whom we did unite) and father is our heavenly Father.

After the Fall Adam and Eve in their naked condition were not acceptable to God; so He provide for them the hairy clothes. Esau was born hairy and Jacob to pass the test did “need to put on Esau”. Woman (symbol of flesh) need to cover her own head with hair; whereas man (symbol of Christian in right standing and NOT in naked condition) should not cover his Head which is Christ.

Jesus did His part by fulfilling the requirements of the law and uniting us with Him (John 12:32); now our part is to believe it and confess it (even if it feels like to pretend it): “I don’t live any more but Christ in me”. Faith comes through hearing. The life of Christ is a gift and we can call into existence the things we don’t yet have (by unbelief) as though we have them (Romans 4:17).

When I did first time realise that I need to be imitator of Paul and confess the same thing he did, the result was much inside laughing and smiling:” Paul was old mature Christian but you just started the Road.”

To confess the same that Jacob did: “I am Esau” and “I AM” might be too strong for many and they start to deny Jesus like Peter did: “Woman, I do not know Him” and “Man, I am not” (Luke 22:57,58) Sometimes it is better be careful and go around the strong ideas with allegorical language like Jesus and Paul did. 9 As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, “Don’t tell anyone what you saw, until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.”) (Matthew 17:9)
