John 17:3 "This is eternal life, that they should KNOW You, the only true God..." Prov.9:10 "The knowledge of the Holy one is understanding." Precondition to love the God (like He is) is to kow Him.

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, But the glory of Kings (Christians) is to search out the matter. (Prov. 25:2) If you experience a bit of work and pain to find something it is more valuable to you.

Why the Lord sometimes chose to conceal Himself and doesn‘t speak plainly (like in the case of Job's sufferings); even in the course of history there are periods when "the word of the Lord was rare" and "There was no widespread revelation“ (1 Sam 3:1).

If you don't bother to search the Lord and dig out His message you don't fear and value Him much. ("What measure you use it will be measured back to you": it is the more you appreciate Him the more He values you.) There is another reason why God speaks with parallels and hides Himself: When we assemble (and amass) His "puzle" we will be convinced of higher understanding and authority behind different Bible writings and authors as well as God's honesty and integrity.

Heb.10:26 "For if we sin willfully after we have received the (full) knowledge of the truth (=Jesus) ( it is: we intimately know God like He is), there remains no more sacrifice for sins,... If God has trusted His personality to us and we reject Him and break His heart knowingly, it is too much pain for God to carry again. Conscious selection of evil and crookedness arises God's wrath.

No wonder that God likes to test us first.The bigger the love is the bigger is the sorrow of abandonment.

With this essay I like to correct some misunderstandigs about His nature to remove obstacles to love Him.

"In the day that God created man, He made him in the God's likeness". (Gen 5:1) That was mainly pertaining to the mind, will and emotion. TheLord God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living (thinking, willing and emotionally feeling and acting) being. (Gen 2:7)

Emotionally our biggest need is to love, to be loved and to be accepted. First and second commandments in the New Testament are : "You shall love the Lord .... and your neighbour ..." (Mat 22: 38, 39 ). God has the same desire : "Love and to be loved".

The heart symbolises our emotional centre and belly (food processing place) depicts the centre of reasoning. Note that it is the heart which pumps the blood (mind will and emotion) not stomak. If belly dictates God's decisions He would have ended this demon infested world already ages ago. But it is the God's heart.

The reason we are still here is that God doesn't want anyone to get lost starting from Adam and Eve.

God can't help Himself. Devil can't help himself either but by hastenig to" sodomise" the world he is at the same hastening his own destruction. Motives behind our situatin are love and hate.

Loving is always GIVING, not especially TAKING the honour and glory and desire of others, but GIVING to others. God created man to fill His needs because He was lonely and "love-sick". (Song 2:5, 3:2, 5:8, 8:6).

This situation where we are now, wasn't God's purpose. Mt 24:12 "Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold." It is just because one is accusing God out of the problems.

But from the tree (mindset) of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die (Spiritually losing your God-kind soul) (Gen 2:17 NKS) On the day they ate it Adam and Eve didn't die naturally, so the death was spiritual ( by losing the life free of condemnation and guilt) Result of this is now that "... the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one" (1 John 5:19 NKS) The poison we got injected was selfishness. "Let the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind " (Gen 1 :4 KJ) We inherited the mind and spirit of our father.

The egoism of Satan is best depicted in Is 14:13. "I will ascend to heaven (NOT YOU)" "I will raise MY throne above the stars of God (NOT YOU)" "And I will sit on the mount of assembly (NOT YOU)".“I will ascend above the height of the clouds" "I will make MYSELF like the first High".

Christians are not safe fiom that basic sin: (selfishness can subdue the talent of the Lord's mind implanted into us as birthday gift) as we can see in the case of the Church of Laodicea. I am rich (of the world of God - NOT YOU) and I have become rich (through the proper teaching in MY church - NOT YOU) and I HAVE no need (especially that YOU teach me anything) (Rev 3:17).

Job had the same (spiritual) pride and his (spiritual) dwelling was established on the sand.

Job 29: 7-18 "When I WENT out of the gate of the city ..." "When I TOOK MY SEAT in the open square the young man SAW ME and stepped aside and the aged arose and stood." "I DELIVERED the poor ‘I CAUSED the widows heart to sing for joy ....“ "I PUT ON righteousness ..." "I WAS eyes to the blind " "I WAS father to the poor ..." "I SEARCHED out the case ..." ‘I BROKE the fangs of the wicked ..."

"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble (I Peter 5:5 NKJ) Only after Job did repent from his pride and did "abhor himself‘, that is his proud natural man (Job 42:6 NKJ) God started to bless him again. Paul had the mind of Christ "I could wish that I myself were accused from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh ...‘* (Rom 9:3 NKJ). For I want YOU to know how great a struggle I (Paul & God) have on YOUR BEHALF and from those who are (spiritually) at Laodicea (being neither hot in spirit or cold in distress longing for God) and whose who have not personally seen my face (that is my soul and my personality) (Col 2:1, 2). that YOU can attain all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding in the true knowledge of Christ. Who is gentle and humble in heart (Mat ll: 29)

"We have not ceased to pray FOR YOU and to ask that YOU (not me) may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all Spiritual Wisdom and understanding, so that YOU may increase in the knowledge of God. " (Col 1:9) That is, God likes us to receive full revelation of Himself who is truth. Paul had the nature of God, who is looking after OUR best, forgetting Himself Man who has fallen in love with a woman doesn't look after his own glory and honour but rather he is after the best interest of that woman. Is it so also with God. He is not selfish at all. Satan is looking after his OWN glory. God is looking after OUR glory.

When one is promoting himself and looking after his own honour he is at that very moment pushing his brothers down. "Love your brother like youself."

So I am in opposition. to the Biblical statements like: "The revelation that God was given concerning‘ Himself should reflect an ultimate consummating purpose whereby the God of the Old and New Testament brings glory to Himself" (THE MOODY HANDBOOK OF THEOLOGY/ Paul Enns, l989, p. 33). The four beasts in the centre of the throne, Rev 4:6, represent the QUALITES of Christ who is "the radiance of God's glory and exact representation of His nature". God radiates these qualities and these qualities continually WORSHIP Him.

So when we are asked to WORSHIP God, it correspondingly means: We are asked to radiate the same qualities as God being one with Him and in Him. "You shall be holy, for I am holy" (1 Peter 1:16)

"Give glory to God" ( by your behaviour) simply means: Don‘t look after your own honour and worship (= reflect the qualities of) the devil but put on Lord Jesus Christ that you can imitate Him who has risen up from death in you. Jesus made it not you but you must believe it and align your mind with it.

At the time of the prophets of the Old Testament,it was an invitation to turn back to God from idolatry. It is the same today even the idolatry is not conscious and not recocnized by worshipper.

John 17:22 And the glory which Thou hast given Me, I have given to them: that they may be one, just as we are one.

2 Thess 2:14 " And it was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." Our aim is to conquer Jericho and understand (continually and consciously) that we are freed from the desire of selfelevation (sin of Pharisees). God's glory is His humble and unselfish ( not selfpromotional) nature. He can not give it to natural man as one deems it more or less despicable property (of poor people).His glory is only possible in existence with Him and in Him. It is part of Christ life.

Isa.26:10 Let favor be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness.He deals perversely in the land of honesty,and does not see the majesty (glory) of God.

I don't say, that Woman should not honour her husband (Christ), but rather that man when in love with woman is not looking after his own honour but that of the Woman. He is willing to given himself and his thoughts (Revelation of himself) to her. It is the same with God who is willing to reveal Himself to the Church. God is immutable and so is His love (agape).

We should not mix together the nature of God and the nature enemy and so create "a golden calf" as a god for ourself.

Through. the knowledge (revelation) of Him" "His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness" and "exceedingly great and precious promises" "that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature" (and if you are) Christ like "you will be neither barren (without good works which will naturally follow you) nor unfruitful (peace joy and love ...)". Unfortunately many of the born again Christians develop within themselves (because of the impure milk of the word) a certain degree of "denominational spirit“ ( spirit of Laodicean) which prohibits them from recurring the relieving revelation from Lord (through fellow Christians).

At the time of "the natural Israel" there were l7 bad and 2 mostly had kings in Israel and 12 bad, and 8 good or mostly good Kings in Judah after Solomon (Halley, l965, P. 194). l wonder what is the ratio now at the time of "spiritual Israel“.

2Thess.2:10-12 God will send a STRONG DELUSION for those who did not believe the truth. But God does not lie or send a lie? The Truth Himself Jesus Christ was false Messiah and delusion for them who didn't like to believe and love Him even God's will was and is that all will be saved trough Him.

Similar way Christ's ambassadors and their message (word of God’s) can be deemed as delusion and error.

My wife travels every summer in Europe and collect money to evangelise and educate slum-kids and aboriginal people in Philippine.

By experience she knows to avoid any doctrinal teaching and concentrate only to happenings on mission field. " I don't want to lose 90% of our budget" Every individual Christian and denominations as well have their own doctrinal emphasis and features.

When one is indoctrinated to certain thinking pattern it is very hard to break it and usually one is not willing to hear different "opinions".

Joh7:38 "He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said (similar way without adding or taking off anything),from within him ( Greek: out of his belly/ centre of reasoning = out of his correct understanding according to the Bible) will flow rivers of living water.

l Cor 13:11 When I was a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I become a (mature) man (to the increase of the stature of the fullness of Christ). I put away childish things, for now We see dimly, but then (when as a grown up man) face to face.

I personally have experienced two steps in understanding the word of God. First when I start to hear the Lord speaking in the Old Testament, and later in the New Testament. Like Col 2: l, 2: it was no more Paul who had the struggle on my behalf but God Himself, who did speak through Paul. When reading the apocryphal - I didn't experience similar internal structure, as in an canon, only the surface Without the possibility to penetrate deeper.

God's biggest revelation of Himself is Jesus Christ who came into flesh. The continuing revelation to the world is every Christian believer who has the Spirit of God and is part of the body of Christ. Unfortunately God in us is an Ambassador in chains because our fleshly weaknesses regarding our unrenewed minds, emotions and unsaltiness.
